He is survived by: his wife Dora Velazquez; his children, Antonio Velazquez (Teresita Del), Lorraine Velazquez-Roman (Javier E. Roman), Esmeralda Serna (Jorge A. Serna), Jesus Velazquez and Aaron Travieso (Kiara Travieso); his siblings, Ruben Velazquez, Melquiadez Velazquez, Virginia Campos and Consuelo Rocha; and his grandchildren, Leonardo Velazquez, Diana Velazquez, Nicole Velazquez, Alejandro Serna, Cristian Serna and Aurelia Trevieso.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Primrose Funeral Chapel (303 W College Ave, Devine, TX 78016).
