It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry W. Hoxworth (San Antonio, Texas), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 20, 2026, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Warner Hoxworth and Mary Hoxworth (Clark) of Lancaster. He is survived by: his siblings, Russell, Frank, Glenn, Gladys Mast and Gloria Seifried; his wife Mary Hoxworth (Howard) of St. Louis; his sons, Scott Hoxworth of Orlando and William Hoxworth (Kathleen); his grandsons, Christian (Brittany), Justin (Jessie) and Liam; his great grandchildren, Harrison, Howard, Wryann of Denver, Colorado and Chandler of Denver, Colorado; San Antonio. He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 18th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the ARC's Widow's Fund in memory of MAJ Larry Hoxworth. Checks can be made payable to the Army Residence Community with "Widow's Fund in memory of Larry Hoxworth" in the memo.
