It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence C. Mata (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemente Mata and Ramona Mata; and his grandparents, Fred, Aurora Capelo, Juan and Julia Mata.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Ann Mata; his daughters, Michelle Lerma (Rudy), Andrea Mata (Roger), Lauren Mata and Stephanie Mata; and his siblings, Aurora Pena, Susan Mata (Alma), Hope Gutierrez (Roberto), David Mata, Clemente Mata Jr. (Lawrence) and Alfred Mata (Massimo). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, other relatives, and friends.
