She was predeceased by: her parents, Ramon Arriola and Wenceslada Arriola. She is survived by: her siblings, Trinidad (Lale), Olivia, Concha, Clara, Josie, Ramona, Raymond and Albert (Beto); her sister-in-law Josie Arriola (Tio Beto); her husband Valdemar M. Castano; her children, Joe Castano (Carol), Val Castano Jr. (Rose), Xavier Castano and Irma Castano; and her grandchildren, Sean, Christopher, Yvette, Annette, Suzette, Ralph, Crystal, Jolene and Jake. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, as well as extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 19th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church (1314 Fair Ave, San Antonio, TX 78223). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 at the Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
