He was predeceased by : his sister Nora Araceli Chavez. He is survived by : his sons, Leonel Chavez, III and Ruben Chavez; his mother Martina H. Medina (Humberto); and his siblings, Humberto Jr. Medina (Lindsey), Elias Medina and Wendy Martinez (Jesus). He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 10th 2021 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Rose Garden Funeral Home (2102 US-83, Zapata, TX 78076). A wake was held on Saturday, April 10th 2021 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 11th 2021 at 10:00 AM.
