He is survived by: his wife Susana Carrizales; his children, Sergio Olivas (Jazmine), Kathy Carrizales and Lionel Carrizales Jr.; his grandchildren, Jazlynn and Sergio II; and his sisters, Alvesa Ruel and Gloria Rodriguez.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 10:15 AM to 11:15 AM at 203 N Tafolla St, Pearsall, TX 78061. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the VFW Cemetery (1675 E Colorado St, Pearsall, TX 78061).
