He was predeceased by : his parents, Joe T. Garcia and Dolores J. Garcia; and his siblings, Peter Garcia, Janie Garcia and Beatrice Garcia.

He is survived by : his siblings, Joe J. Garcia, Jr., Richard Garcia and Esther Jaquez; and his children, Lorenzo Garcia, Jr., Jo Anna G. Martinez, Rosanne Villalobos and Trinidad Garcia. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
