It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lupe R. Goodson of San Antonio, Texas, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Rodriguez and Socorro Rodriguez; her husband John L. Goodson; and her siblings, Charlotte Rios, Ruth Acevedo, Paz and David Rodriguez.

She is survived by: her children, John J. Goodson (Deanna) and Monica Goodson Smith (Daniel); her grandchildren, Timothy and Marisa; her sisters, Connie Esquivel and Socorro Rodriguez (Reina); and her pet Sandy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
