With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Machell D. Conner (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on December 6, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Machell may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, C. W. Wilson and Elvira Wilson; and her siblings, Ollie V. Johnson and Melvin L. Anthony. She is survived by: her children, Tammi Laury, LaGloria Mims and Roger Mims; and her close friend Elmer Polk. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and a large circle of extended family.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the MeadowLawn Funeral Home (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the MeadowLawn Memorial Park (5611 E Houston St, San Antonio, TX 78220).
