We bid farewell to Maria Carrillo of San Antonio, Texas, born in Castroville, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 8, 2025 at the age of 87. Maria touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lazaro Resendez and Emiliana Ybarra (Ignacio Carrillo); her sisters, Manuela Castro, Juanita Lopez, Gregoria Spencer, Josefina Garcia and Cristina Salas; and her great grandchild Jay Alexander Rangel.

She is survived by: her children, Maribel Rangel (Rene), Joel Perez, Rene Resendez and Lidnel Carrillo; her sisters, Francisca Rodriguez and Ester Colmenero; her grandchildren, Joel A. Perez, Deanna Resendez, Desirae Resendez, Anastasa Rangel, Noah Rangel, Tiara Carrillo and Arian Carrillo; and her great grandchildren, Avry Rangel, Brody Rangel and Mateo Aviles.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 20th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM at the Texas Funeral Home Chapel (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Grace Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Texas Funeral Home Chapel (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
