She was predeceased by: her parents, William Arthur Johnson and Ludella Rolle; and her adoptive mother Esther Mae Sweeting. She is survived by: her children, Hassan (Norazlina) of Houston, Gamal Hall (Kathleen) of Auburn, Faisal Hall of Nassau, Bahamas. and Rashida Hall Franklin of San Antonio, Texas.; her brother Kenneth Knowles; her sister-in-law Carmita Johnson of Nassau, Bahamas.; and her grandchildren, Faisal Jr., Ayub, Yusef, Issa Hall, Rajiib, Yemani, Siaka Fuselier, Malik Nghi, Shyatesa, Malaika, Nia, Maryam, Zakhiwe, Mya, Dana Hall and Atiyah Fuselier.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Texas Funeral Home (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A prayer will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
