He is survived by: his children, Mario Luis Gamez and Nicole Marie Leos (Jeremias); his grandchildren, Matias Bruno Leos and Xiomara Clara Leos; his sisters, Elia Martinez (George), Carmen Ingle (Edward), Hilda Roman (Tony) and Rose Mary Elizalde (Javier); and his sister-in-law Irma Gamez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
