She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Kroesche and Isabel Kroesche; her husband Walter Dunk; her sons, Gerard and Robert; her daughter-in-law Sylvia; her brothers, Oscar Kroesche, Jr. and Joseph Kroesche; and her granddaughter Ashlee Dunk Elliot.
She is survived by: her children, Walter Jr. (Rose), Dennis (Julia), Ronald (Cathy), Stephen (Kathryn) and Mary Elizabeth (Dean); her daughter-in-law Lavette; and her sister Claire Beall. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 5:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218). A rosary was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. A Mass was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. John Neumann Catholic Church (6680 Crestway Dr, San Antonio, TX 78239).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Edwin Stecher Endowment Fund at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.
