It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monsignor Arnold Anders formerly of San Antonio, Texas, born in Dubina, Texas, who passed away on April 4, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Anders and Annie Guenther Anders; his siblings, Margaret (Bernard Hartensteiner), Leona (Tony Garza), Arthur (Sophie), Frank (Leona) and John; his nephews, David Hartensteiner and Michael Anders; his great-nephews, Thomas W. Anders and Henry Anthony Anders; his great-niece Mary Louise Adams; and also Dyrk Burcie.
He is survived by : his sister-in-law Adelle Anders (John). He is also survived by 24 nieces, nephews, many great nieces, great nephews, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 15th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the St Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (410 N Center St, Weimar, TX 78962). A funeral mass was held on Thursday, April 15th 2021 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church (410 N Center St, Weimar, TX 78962).
