He was predeceased by: his parent Gen; and his brother Charles C. Ross. He is survived by: his wife Frances Triesch Ross; his children, David C. Ross (Penny) of Allenspark and Tracy E. Ross (Hector Hernandez) of New Braunfels, Texas.; his grandchildren, Samuel Ross, Melinda Ross and Lillian Ross; his brother Jon Ross (JoAnn); and his sister-in-law Betty Ross.
