She was predeceased by: her husband Guadalupe "Lupano" Hernandez; her parents, Manuel Valdez and Josefa Valdez; and her siblings, Heriberto "Beto" Valdez, Rueben Valdez, Stella Rodriguez, Francis Macias, Elida Esparza and Ofelia Benavides.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Morales (Carlos), George A. Hernandez, Chris A. Hernandez (Monica) and Paul S. Hernandez (Christina); her grandchildren, Marc Alvarez (Abril), Michael Morales (Rebeca), Timothy Morales (Reema), Christopher Hernandez, Diego Hernandez, Aiden "Peanut" Hernandez and Zachary "Chunks" Hernandez; her great grandchildren, Marc II, Matthew, Makayla, Mason Alvarez, Andrew and Madilyn Morales; her great great grandchild Callie Alvarez; and her brother Reynaldo Valdez. She is also survived by in-laws, along with countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary will be held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the San Fernando Cemetery (746 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
