Oralia Avila Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Oralia Avila of San Antonio, Texas, born in Rio Bravo, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2026 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Oralia shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Oralia farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maria Avila (Angeles) and Romulo Avila; her daughter Nora Angelica Aleman; and her brothers, Jose Antonio Avila Renteria and Homero Avila Renteria.
She is survived by: her husband Reynaldo Acosta Martinez; her children, Pedro Acosta Avila, Mayra Alejandra Aguilar and Claudia Patricia Salazar; and her brothers, Agustin Avila Renteria and Florencio Martinez Renteria. She is also survived by 12 loving grandchildren and her 1 great grandchild.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Texas Funeral Home Chapel (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A prayer was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
