It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oscar T. Cantu (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Cantu and Maria Luisa Treviño; and his siblings, Guadalupe Lopez, Celestina Alcala, Irene Thomas and Joe Cantu.
He is survived by: his wife Antoñia R. Cantu; his children, Gary, Lisa Cantu, Diana, Bobby Gonzales, Mary Lou and John Chavez; his grandchildren, Valerie, Morty Bregman, Christina, Anthony Casarez, Jacqueline Dimando, Miranda Chavez, Marina Chavez, Jacob Vannatter, Madelyn Chavez, Robert Gonzales, John David Chavez, Danielle Gonzales, Gary Cantu Jr. and Victoria Cantu; his great grandchildren, Anthony, Jacob Jr., Ava, Olivia, Jet, Jaxon, Angelo, Cecilia, Aria and Morty Jr.; and his siblings, Ramon, Bea Cantu and Esther Hinojosa. He is also survived by numerous loving nephews, nieces.
