With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Oscar Sandoval Jr. of San Antonio, Texas, born in Del Rio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2025 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Maribel Sandoval; and his grandparents, Medardo, Feliz Saldua, Pedro and Ana Gloria Sandoval.
He is survived by: his son Oscar Sandoval III; his grandchildren, Damian Luca and Cassia Sandoval; his father Oscar Sandoval Sr.; his sisters, Jennifer Juanita Sandoval and Marianna Sandoval (Juan Castañeda); and his wife Sheena Marata.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial (2020 N Bedell Ave, Del Rio, TX 78840). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (510 Wernett St, Del Rio, TX 78840). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sunset Memorial Oaks Cemetery (5144 US-90, Del Rio, TX 78840).
