He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Wright and Myrtle Sanders Wright; and his sisters, Naomi Maden, Minnie Travenia and Carrie Russell.

He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Oscar L. Wright (Gloria), Vincent Wright, Sharnee Horton (Percy), Alisa Forman and North; and his siblings, Ruth Howard and Biff Wright (Cynthia).
