He was predeceased by: his wife Gloria; and his siblings, Ben, Jesse and Margaret Lozano. He is survived by: his father Paul; his brother Emilio Vargas; his children, Loretta Rangel (Robert), Valerie Vargas, Ben Vargas and Roland Vargas (Michele); his grandchildren, Adriana Brown (Nick), Vanessa Dawson (Rob), Gabriela Rangel, Thomas Vargas and Matthew Vargas; and his great grandchildren, Nathan Dawson, Magdalena Dawson, Marley Jean Brown and Raul Max Suarez.
