We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2025, at the age of 65, Phillip Moya in San Antonio, Texas, born in Mathis, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Guadalupe Moya; his grandparents, Simon and Josefina Moya; his uncles, Juan B. Jalomo and Juan Ramos; his daughter Phyllis Ann Moya; his granddaughter Olivia; his siblings, Florinda Gonzales (Felipe Ortiz), Fernando (Ivelisse Rivera-Moya), Gilberto Moya and Robert Moya; his aunts, Carolina M. Jalomo and Marcela Ramos; and his father Concan. He was also cherished by numerous cousins, nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (1300 W Main St, Uvalde, TX 78801).
