He was predeceased by: his parents, Domingo Vargas Sr. and Ninfa V. Vargas; his sister Olga Vargas; and his grandchild Bonny Vargas. He is survived by: his children, Richard Vargas, Rudy Vargas (Lynda), Raul T. Vargas Jr. (Patricia), Linda Vargas (John) and Nancy Vargas; his siblings, Domingo Vargas Jr. and Gloria V. Zuniga; his grandchildren, Bridgette, Kristi, Kymberly, Kyle, Sabrina, Jasmine, Cassandra, Matthew, Steven, Brandon, Bethany, Nicholas, Natalie and Anastacia; his great grandchildren, Emily and Audrey; Cynthia Ortiz, Domingo Vargas Jr., Olga Gutierrez, Ruben Flores, JoAnn Sandoval, Richard Zuniga and Roxanne Luna.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Texas Funeral Home Chapel (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 2 on Castroville Road. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Texas Funeral Home Chapel (2702 Castroville Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237).
