He was predeceased by: his parents, Desiderio Carrillo and Adelina Vidal; and his siblings, Bernice Olivares, Eva Guajardo, Margaret Quintana, Carmen Meyer, Lucy Garza, Daniel, Adan and Estevan Carrillo.
He is survived by: his wife Marcella "Marcy" Ybarra Carrillo; his children, Rick Carrillo (Ivonne) and Melinda Sweeney (Mark); his grandchildren, Michael Sweeney (Reid), Leviere Carrillo, Daniel and Joseph Sweeney; and his brothers-in-law, Jesse (Celia) and Louis Ybarra (Nicki). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that a contribution be made to the charity of your choice in Richard's name.
