She was predeceased by: her husband Moses Escobedo; her mother Cecilia De Soto; her brothers, Jesse De Soto, Chavel Medina and Joe Medina; and her grandson Darion Hendrick-Escobedo.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Mendez (Mercedes), Roxanne Williams (Ken), Stephen Escobedo (Clarissa) and Jeff De Soto; and her grandchildren, Iliana Mendez, Ian Mendez, Keith Williams, Luke Williams, Scott Williams, Domanic Escobedo, Maya Escobedo, Julia Escobedo and Justine Escobedo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Angelus Chapel (1119 N St Mary's St, San Antonio, TX 78215). A procession will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
