She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesus Cavazos and Emilia Jaquez; and her daughter Elissa. She is survived by : her husband Eli Gomez; and her children, Ebony Joy, Eli Jr., Emilio Jay, Eriq Joel and Emery Joann. She is also survived by her 4 sisters and 1 brother.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the El Salvador Assembly of God (201 Odell St, San Antonio, TX 78212). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
