Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sandra Marie Cavazos (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away at the age of 59, on October 5, 2025. Though Sandra may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Sandra touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her children, Matthew Cavazos and Priscilla Forey; and her sisters, Carol Gonzalez and Laura Montalvo. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218). A reception will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
