It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonja Lee Gunther of San Antonio, Texas, born in Crete, Nebraska, who passed away on July 18, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Tessar and Libby Tessar (Simacek) of Crete, NE; and her husband Gabriel Gunther of Frankfort, KS.. She is survived by: her children, Grant (Elise) and Sheryl (Christopher); and her grandsons, Christopher of San Antonio, TX and Andrew of San Antonio, TX.

Memorials may be sent in Sonja's honor to a charity of donor's choice.
