He is survived by: his wife Marie Maldonado; his children, Sandra Maldonado Burgos, Sylvia Estrada, Ted Maldonado Jr. and Melissa Martinez; his grandchildren, Cristian, Andrea Burgos, Raymond, Ysenia Estrada, Theo, Clarissa, Casey, Jenna Maldonado, Tobias Jr. and Nico Martinez; and his siblings, Raul Maldonado, Blanca Maldonado Wolf, Lucia Maldonado Woodcox, Julia Maldonado Lopez, Gloria Maldonado Burnett and Maria M. Maldonado Trevino. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the St. Leo the Great Catholic Church (4401 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78214). A burial was held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 at the Mission Burial Park South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214).
