With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thomas Herman Kerns of San Antonio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 19, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Kerns and Minnie Kerns (Schierhoff) of Darkwater, PA.; his wife Kathe Wenzel; and his siblings, Patrick Jr., Donald, James, Jack and Rosemary.
He is survived by: his brother Robert (Brian); his daughters, Linda, Debi (Charlie) and Karen; his granddaughters, Andrea (Alejandro) and Kinley (Joe); and his great grandchild Finn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels South (1700 SE Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78214). A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
