He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Garza; his children, Tomas Garza III, Jason Garza, Jose Casillas, Roger Cerna, Samantha Cerna and Melanie Sosa; his grandchildren, Emery Garza, Buddy Love Garza and Robyn McCumber; his mother Elena Garza (Robert Frias); his brothers, Luis Garza and Raymond Garza (Melanie); and his aunts and uncles, Luisa Araiza (Paul), Mary Requejo (Genaro), Margaret De Leon, Delia Rodriguez (Juan), Mary Alice Gil (Joe), Elias Garza (Annie), Richard Garza and Tony Martinez (Nadia).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home (226 Cupples Rd, San Antonio, TX 78237). A rosary was held on Tuesday, February 10th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 11th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine (1321 El Paso St, San Antonio, TX 78207).
