It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Shedrock (San Antonio, Texas), who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Ida Shedrock; his grandparents, Mary Dylla Shedrock and Theodore Henry Shedrock; and his son Randal Riedel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Riedel; his children, Karen Koepp (Mark), Kenneth Riedel (Ellen), Alan Riedel (Brenda), Dana Johnston (Scott) and Kristi Meyer (Tim); and his daughter-in-law Francine Riedel. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and well as numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Finch Funeral Chapel (13767 US Hwy 87 E p, Adkins, TX 78101). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at the St. Ann's Catholic Cemetery (14151 U. S. Hwy 87 W, La Vernia, TX 78121).
