She was predeceased by: her parent Zadie Marie Hawkins Squyres; her husband Ronnie Wade Lane; her parent D. Q. Squyres Jr.; her brothers, D. Q. Squyres III and Clarence Squyres; and her parents-in-law, Jesse Woodrow Lane and Edna Earl Cardwell Lane.

She is survived by: her daughter Latisha Lane Young (Paul); her granddaughter Courtney Leigh; her son Lancer Lee Lane (Brent); and her siblings-in-law, Patricia Squyres, Betty Shipman and Dale Lane. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home (1400 E Business 77, San Benito, TX 78586). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (26170 TX-345, San Benito, TX 78586).
