It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florentino Machuca (San Benito, Texas), who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Manuel Machuca and Margarita Machuca; his son David "Butch" Machuca; and his siblings, Jose Maria Machuca (Amelia), Israel Machuca (Marcela), Maria Elena Piñon (Ciri), Maria Delia Mercado (Javier) and Rosalinda Rodriguez (Reynaldo).

He is survived by : his children, Belinda Machuca, Daniel G. Machuca (Esther) and Roy Martinez (Lisa); and his siblings, Manuel Machuca (Oralia) and Maria Isabel Avila (Hilario). He is also survived by grandchildren, other family members, and numerous friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the San Benito City Cemetery North Sam.
