She was predeceased by : her parents, Marcos Torres and Maria Olga Torres; her brothers, Rolando Torres and Chicho Torres; and her niece Monica Torres.

She is survived by : her siblings, Guadalupe, Alberto, Marcos Jr. and Yolanda Padilla; her nieces and nephews, Amanda, Josie, Jose, Samantha, Alberto Jr., Mary Lou, Anthony, Ruben, Jennifer, Luis, Edgar, Dulce, Perla, Marcos III and Debbie; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Dionicio (Nayeli), Ismael, Joel, Jazlyn, Isaiah, Branden, Breeanna, Antonio, JoAnthony, Malakhi of Kaylani, RJ, Jazelle, Bella, Jasmine, Mia, Marcos, Allison, Katyln and Makayla; her close friend Rosie Conde; and her pets, Skipper and Charlie.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location.
