As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Hilda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luis Gonzalez and Hilda Garza Gonzalez; and her sister Mary Lou Andazola. She is survived by: her husband Armando E. Garcia; her daughter Ashley Garcia-Mojica (Anthony Mojica); her granddaughters, Avery A. Mojica and Ailany M. Mojica; and her pet Kitty. She is also survived by relatives, including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Monday, July 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Ignatius Catholic Church (24380 US-281, San Benito, TX 78586).
