She was predeceased by: her husband Deacon Manuel Sanchez; and her siblings, Maria Ninfa, Roberto, Manuela, Jose Juan and Maria Lourdes.
She is survived by: her children, Hortencia, Enrique (Kike), Roberto, Manuela, Jose Juan, Benito (Ben), Maria Lourdes, Jesus Manuel (Pacho), San Juana (Janie), Henry Sanchez (Vicky), Patsy Sanchez and Christy Sanchez Rodriguez (John); her grandchildren, Matthew Sanchez, Nicholas Sanchez, Stephanie Galvan Russell, Kristen Rodriguez and John Rodriguez III; her great grandchildren, Matthew G. Sanchez, Luke Sanchez, Peter Sanchez, Lucy Sanchez, Olivia Sanchez, Andrew Sanchez and Layne Sanchez; Ramon. She is also survived by sisters, extended family, and countless friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae-Garza Funeral Home & Crematorium (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St Benedicts Catholic Church (351 S Bowie St, San Benito, TX 78586). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (6501 Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77007).
