He was predeceased by: his aunts, Paula Reyes and Clementina Gonzales. He is survived by: his parents, Mario Hinojosa and Flavia "Bertha" Hinojosa; his son Adrian Jesus "AJ" Hinojosa; his sisters, Lupita, Mary "Cookie" (Joe Zamarripa) and Maria Teresa "Terri" (Martin Saenz); his nephew Mario Arturo "Marty"; Teri Contreras. He is also survived by many cousins, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Thomae Garza Funeral Home (395 S Sam Houston Blvd, San Benito, TX 78586). A rosary was held on Sunday, December 7th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the St Benedicts Catholic Church (351 S Bowie St, San Benito, TX 78586). A burial was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park Cemetery.
