She was predeceased by : her husband Darrell Loy Wells; her parents, AJ Rock and Thelma Rock; her sister Darlene Lasiter; her sons, John and Bill Wells; and her grandchildren, Darrell Wayne Shipp and Melissa Wells.

She is survived by : her children, Regina (Doyle Shipp), Linda Bayard and Carl Wells (Lisa); and her nieces, Linda (Bill Riley), Becky Breshers and Kathy Hudnall. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 6 great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Buck Ashcraft San Benito Funeral Home (1400 E Business 77, San Benito, TX 78586). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mont Meta Memorial Park (26170 TX-345, San Benito, TX 78586).

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the Rio Grande Valley Humane Society at 2729 North Expressway 77 in Harlingen, Texas.
