She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor S. Vera and Maria R. Vera; her husband Jose M. Garcia; her granddaughter Fallyn Marie Garcia; and her brothers, Cornelio Vera, Victor Vera Jr. (Petra) and Juan Vera (Lilia).
She is survived by: her children, Mario O. Garcia (Ramona) of New Braunfels, Victor N. Garcia (Pamela) of Longmont, CO., Leo Garcia (Jessica) of Oilton, Texas, Nelda Iris Garza (Rolando R.) of Corpus Christi and Annette Garcia of San Antonio, Texas; and her siblings, Matias, Velia Lamb (Marcos), Odilia Gonzalez (Humberto) and Maria Elizondo (J. R.). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
