It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Agustin R. Alaniz of San Diego, Texas, who passed away on December 10, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Agustin Alaniz; his son Ricardo; his mother Josefa R. Alaniz; and his brother Adolfo Alaniz. He is survived by : his wife Rosa Ema; his children, Roque Alaniz of San Diego, Texas, Agustin Alaniz Jr. of Corpus Christi, Texas, Lydia Guidry (Michael) of Clovis, California and Diana Alaniz Johansen (Mark) of Boerne, Texas; his siblings, George Alaniz (Elida) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Celina; and his grandchildren, Michael Guidry Jr., Agustin Alaniz IV, Marissa Johansen, Danny Johansen and Austin Alaniz. He is also survived by four great grandchildren and one great granddaughter on the way; numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic we will be following all CDC and Government mandates and ask each guest to do so as well. We ask everyone to follow social distancing and wear masks inside the funeral home and church.
