She is survived by: her children, Juanita A. Smith (David) of Freer, Texas, Leonila Perez of San Diego, Texas, J. C. Perez III (Nelda) of Alice, Texas and Cardilia Melanson (Ed) of South Plainfield; her sister Leonila Alarcon (Genaro) of Mexico City; her grandchildren, Oscar Miguel Gonzalez (Xochitl), J. C. Perez IV (Celina), Jenika C. Rivera (Michael), Jenyse C. Rodriguez (Timothy), Jason A. Perez (April), Justin Melanson (Jaclyn), Shane Melanson and Zachary Melanson (Kimberly); and her great grandchildren, Xochitlinda Gonzalez, Zane Timothy Rodriguez, Jaziel C. Perez, Ensley Rodriguez, Cason Michael Rivera, Caiden A. Melanson, Charlotte R. Melanson, Cameron J. Melanson and Alexandria B. Melanson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
