She was predeceased by : her parents, Ismael Saenz and Cruz Hobbs Saenz of Alice, Texas; her husband Horacio S. Ibanez of San Diego, Texas; and her siblings, Aurora Smithwick, Blanca Clark, Ismael Saenz Jr. and Lamar Rivera.

She is survived by : her daughters, Norma Hinojosa of Corpus Christi, Nora Hancock (Joseph) of Austin and Nelda Juarez of New Braunfels, Texas.; her grandchildren, Margaret Switt (Justin), Raymond "Ray" Hinojosa III (Alejandra), Joseph Hancock Jr. (Vanessa) and Alexandria "Ali" Juarez; and her great grandchildren, Hayden Johnson, Warren Sibley, Christina Hinojosa, Raymond Hinojosa IV, Nathalia Hinojosa, Sebastian Hinojosa, Isabela Hancock and Emma Hancock. She is also survived by her four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
