With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Irma G. Hinojosa (San Diego, Texas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 24, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Horacio Hernandez; her parents, Rosendo Garza and Lydia Garza; and her children, Ricardo Tanguma and Estella Hernandez.
She is survived by: her sons, Roel Hernandez (Jennifer) and Horacio Martin (Elma Hernandez); her daughter-in-law Ilda Tanguma; and her siblings, Ruben Rene Garza, Rosendo Garza (Alice), Estella Garza (Ariel Hernandez) and Lydia Garza. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mauro P. Garcia Funeral Home- San Diego (1016 E Gravis Ave, San Diego, TX 78384). A rosary was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mauro P. Garcia Chapel (1016 E Gravis Ave, San Diego, TX 78384).
