She was predeceased by: her parents, Anastacio and Cipriana; her husband Atilano; and her son Humberto Salas. She is survived by: her sister Hortencia Cantu; and her children, Gloria Alaniz (Corando), Atilano Salas (Melba), Esperanza Cavazos (Ovidio), Ricardo Salas (Joyce) and Daniel Salas (Cindy). She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
