She was predeceased by : her former life partner Octavio R. Cantu; her parents, Jose O. Martinez and Candelaria G. Martinez; her son Josue O. Cantu; and her sisters, Ebelia G. Martinez and Josefina "Veve" Martinez.

She is survived by : her spouse Tavo; her daughter Delma C. Everett of Corpus Christi, Texas; her granddaughter Claudia Guerra (O. J.); and her great grandchildren, Karina Loren Guerra and Orlando Javier "Bubba" Guerra II. She is also survived by grandmother, great grandmother.
