She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Trevino and Oralia Trevino; and her husband Arturo Cortez. She is survived by: her children, Arturo "Artie" Cortez Jr. (Lisa) of San Diego, Texas and Yvonne Cortez (Isidro Vela Jr.) of San Diego, Texas; her siblings, Antonia Briones (Jose Francisco), Anita P., Esmeralda Cadena, Juan Trevino (Araceli), Jesus and Jose Trevino (Elena); her aunt Diana; her grandchildren, Katherine Carla Cortez, Sylvi Noemi Cortez, Heather Nicole Suarez (Damon), Rebecca Renee Gonzalez (Ricardo), Artie Isaiah Cortez and Ross Benjamin Cuellar; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Mae Garcia and Rozlynn Hope Gonzalez. She is also survived by her family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Diego Family Worship Center (300 S Trevino St, San Diego, TX 78384). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the San Diego Family Worship Center in San Diego, Texas (300 S Trevino St, San Diego, TX 78384).
