It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Isidra Zarate of San Marcos, Texas, born in Eden, Texas, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Bonifacio Maldonado and Maria Esquivel Maldonado; her spouse Santos Zarate; her sons, Alfred, Jesse, Santos, Jr. and Milton Dean; and her sister Maria Tomasa Sanchez.

She is survived by : her daughters, Rosemary Box of San Marcos and Janet A. Zarate of San Marcos; her sister Lucy Zarate of Ranger; and her grandchildren, Andrea Savage of Conway, Paul Zarate of Colorado Springs, Carl David Zarate of Shreveport, Louisiana and Kyler Zarate of Fort Cavazos.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Robert Massie Funeral Home (402 Rio Concho Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903). A rosary was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Robert Massie Riverside Chapel (402 Rio Concho Dr, San Angelo, TX 76903). A Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (301 W 17th St, San Angelo, TX 76903).
