She was predeceased by: her husband Gregorio E. Garcia; her parents, Rafael Varela and Guadalupe Loera; her stepfather Agapito Esparza; her son Eduardo "Eddie" Garcia; and her grandson Hector Greg Garcia.
She is survived by: her siblings, Pedro Varela (Esmeralda), Josefina Varela (Manuel) and Juana Esparza Loera (Jose Luis); and her children, Joe Louis Garcia (Terry), Ramiro Garcia, Hector Garcia (Diana), Maria Godina, Gracie Garcia, Alice Garcia and Anna Garcia Hernandez (Andrew). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; as well as other beloved family and friends.
