She was predeceased by: her husband Leon A. Castro; her parents, Desiderio Robles and Rosa Hill Castellon; and her siblings, Petronilo Lechuga Castellon, Romana Palacios, Paula Bengoa, Espiridion Castellon, Leandro Castellon, Teofilo Castellon and Aurora Theresa Castellon.
She is survived by: her sister Augustina Castellon Tenorio; her children, Arnold, Alicia Castro, Tony Castro, First Sergeant Mike (Retired) and Rose Medina; and her grandchildren, Eric Castro, Emilio Medina, Amelia Briones, Katrina, Joseph Cardenas, Casandra Medina, Andrea, Corey Bernat, Christi Castro, Esai Medina and Elijah Medina. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomason Funeral Home - San Marcos (2001 Ranch Rd 12, San Marcos, TX 78666). A rosary was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, May 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cristo Rey Catholic Church (2208 E 2nd St, Austin, TX 78702).
